I make videos about "what really happens at the vet" from the point of view of a vet tech!
My videos are meant to bring joy, laughter, and positivity throughout the veterinary industry,
(which is plagued with compassion fatigue, depression, and burnout).
I became a Licensed Veterinary Technician in 2014 and started my social media in 2022!
My passion is small animal ER (dogs and cats), although I have worked some general practice/large animal in the past.
In the hospital I love surgical assisting, phlebotomy, behavior (fear free!), client education, and snuggly wugglies!
I created "Project Golden Vet"; a series where I travel to deserving vet clinics/special winners (via online contests) all around the US to gift them baskets full of FREE stuff to show them and everyone how appreciated they are! I love being able to make a difference in the vet med community by showing off the humans behind the scenes at vet clinics/hospitals!
I love making videos, going to vet conferences, meeting new people, and enjoy working with brands I am passionate about
to bring joy, efficiency, and education to teams and practices everywhere!
I was born and raised in Houston, TX with 4 brothers and sisters! I had always loved animals and collected little plastic ones to play with. (As amazing as my parents were, never let me have my own pet! What the heck!).
I picked up a job as a kennel tech at the age of 16 and never left the field! (I worked in kennels, groomers, clinics,

I went to college at Brigham Young University-Idaho where I earned my degree in Veterinary Technology. I tried taking the VTNE right after graduating in 2013 and I FAILED! 6 months later in 2014 I actually studied and passed. 😉
I met my husband Brad in college through some mutual friends when shooting skeet in the mountains one day. We got married in 2014 in Houston, TX!
We moved to Texas after Brad graduated with his Bachelor's in Construction Management. We have moved around a bit but have finally settled in surrounding Houston area.
We welcomed our first son into the world; Dustin in 2017! He is now 7, lives and breathes sports and competition (Currently in soccer and baseball). He also loves Nerf Guns, being a "ninja", catching frogs and lizards, playing with friends, anything outdoors, and video games.
We adopted our second-Eli out of foster care after having him since he was 2 weeks old. He is now 4, and a fireball of energy! He loves anything that SPINS or lights up, car washes, pretend play, Mickey Mouse, Bluey, anything doctor/human body-related, and food!
We have PETS! We have 1 dog whom we have had since we were engaged in 2013; Kodiak. Aussie/heeler mix and just about the BEST dog anyone could ask for!
We also have a bearded dragon-Starbore, 1 cat-Amethyst, 5 Pekin ducks, 22 chickens, and herd of cows!
My hobbies other than making videos and being a vet tech include: Art (I'm also a professional face painter), spending time with my husband and kids, travel, swimming, surfing/snorkeling (when I get the chance), tennis, hiking, hanging out with friends and family, organizing my house, sleeping, and finding new projects around our farm!
