What is Project Golden Vet???

Project Golden Vet (PGV) is a movement started by Sarah Parsons for improving the mental health within the Veterinary Industry! The field of Vet Med is plagued with compassion fatigue, depression, and burnout. PGV is helping by bringing GOLDEN VET BASKETS to hardworking, deserving Vet Clinics/Hospitals/Shelters ALL over the US!

I (Sarah Parsons) hold contests/nominations on social media (via my TikTok @watreallyhappensatthevet) and secretly plan out and surprise a clinic! The Golden Vet Basket is full of like clippers, instruments, money, gift cards, plushes, books, candles, and MUCH MUCH MORE!

The goal was always to bring hope and happiness to the Veterinary Industry, one clinic at a time!

How does Sarah make Project Golden Vet happen?

How do I get the team all in one place while they are at the clinic but not open for appointments? Without letting them know I am coming? That’s my secret! 😉 I won’t tell you everything! I am sure some of you can figure it out, but that’s the fun of it!

All I will say is it does take A LOT of work coordinating with fundraising, travel, getting all the basket items together, film crew, finding out about the team, working with sponsors, etc.
